Workflow Run Copy

Overview

The Workflow Run Copy feature lets you create and execute a copy of an existing Workflow Run. You can rerun an analysis using either the same or different parameters. This saves time by eliminating the need to manually fill out all input parameters when launching a new workflow.

Using the Workflow Run Copy Feature

  1. Go find an existing workflow that’s been run in the Workflow Activity page:

  2. As long as your user has the appropriate role, you will see a (***) menu at the far right in the table:

  3. Click on the “New WF from this run config” menu item:

    1. You also are able to run this within the Workflow Run’s Detail View via “New WF from this run config”:

  4. You will be brought to the WF “Review & Submit” page, where all inputs will be the exact copy of the WF you copied this from:

  1. You’re also able to go through the various steps (e.g 3. Advanced Configuration) and make edits as you see fit. This will make it easier to copy an existing workflow run and quickly modify it.
  2. Give it a name and you will be able to launch this workflow.
  3. You will then see the launched Workflow Run in the Workflow Activity Table:
